Selection of the next Secretary-General
The position of Secretary-General – and the process to select who will hold it next – is of tremendous consequence for the United Nations and the world. I will uphold my responsibility to ensure that the UN Charter is followed to the letter, and that the process is fully transparent in line with relevant resolutions of the General Assembly.
